looking around on photo blogs and all that jazz I found a project called 365 which is based on taking a self portrait everyday therefore gaining 365 self portraits at the end of the year.

soOooo I have been thinking.. why not aim to take a photo a day which really says something and has meaning self portrait or non self portrait..

ok so the first photo for today.. hmm got me thinking now..

better get my camera out and ready for anything..

today is my birthday and it has been a long journey this year.. made me think of everything that has happened for this year.. tough times and the happiest times..

i guess everyone goes through things..

but today is a happy day, and i'm off to Turkey Alanya about an hour from Antalya .

so the past few weeks have been good!
I managed to get out the country for two of them and the other scored some freelance work!

I went away to North Cyprus to see my family and boy do i miss it! I had taken many photos and soon to up load them, but you can image how I am with the uploading! it's going to be an other few days until i take them off my camera to my computer!

other good news is next week, I am off to Turkey! there should be lots to see and great people to meet.

But in the meanwhile hope you are all doing photo-tastic!

p.s if anyone is in Turkey, near Alanya and wants to go for a photo shot let me know i'm up for anything!!

This is the day I got half of my films back from developing! and looking through them I realise how long ago these pictures where taken! one film looks to be over 3 years ago an other 2 years so i'm going to have to get out my scanner to scan then in!

unfortunately two of the films seem to be part damaged with blackish/greyish photos as if the sun had been on them! but i will see what there is to post!

other news..
i recently had been looking a calender on DA and had wanted it for ages! the work is beautiful i was a bit weary of ordering but finally thought this is it i got to get the order in! so finally it arrives and I am so surprised! it's truly great! the print and the smell of new printed paper!

I'm also thinking of getting a few significant pieces of work from my wall especially my recent collectables and favs I chosen. still thinking.

If anyone has any suggestions of significant pieces I am all eyes and ears!
